foals + surferblood

a few things that were memorable during the concert:
-i was at the front row barrier and i clung to that barrier for my life
-crowd chanting "go leafs go" and "two steps twice" in which the guys were happy to play for us :)
-it felt like a british invasion when we spotted a Sidney look a like from Skins and Matt Smith of Doctor Who
-the opening was blond fire. they were okay... too pop-y for my liking though.
-the next was surferblood. they were pretty solid. i really liked their guitarist. at one point, he drew a cat whiskers on the singer.

-got to touch yannis' back a couple of times

-my friend, elizabeth, had yannis press up against her (omg.)

-a rowdy crowd with lots of cute boyz (obvi)
-jack was wearing a hat :)
-walt's fingers on dem bass hnnng
-i didn't get a good view of edwin and jimmy from my angle but they sounded spectacular
-"Moon" "Spanish Sahara" "Bad Habit" "Inhaler"
-such a fun/good night. lots of dancing, singing, and good vibes all around. i could honestly say that this was my most favourite concert i've ever been too-- beirut included on this list. so that says a lot. i was both happy and sad when the night was over. happy that it happened, but sad it was over.
